After Seremban, affordable houses under the 1Malaysia Housing Programme (PR1MA) will be coming soon to Bandar Nusajaya, Johor. The PR1MA project which Called the Bandar Nusajaya PR1MA homes will be co-developed with a private developer, Denia Development Sdn Bhd.
Bandar Nusajaya PR1MA homes comprises of 397 units of link terrace houses, each 18ft x 65ft and a built-up area of 1,200sq ft. Targeted for completion by 2016, the housing units are expected to be priced between 10% and 25% below the market price.
To be eligible to participate in the PR1MA programme, PR1MA Berhad chief executive officer Datuk Abdul Mutalib Alias said applicants must meet several key criteria.
Among them, they need to be Malaysian citizens aged 21 years and above, work or live in the area where the project would be developed. They should also not own more than one other home in Malaysia.
Successful candidates for the pilot project were selected via a balloting process conducted by PR1MA Berhad.
